How can i meet new friends?

I have so many friends in all my sports and school stuff but when i go to my confirmation class for church i am stuck. Everyone else has their own cliquiky groups from their own schools, but i have no one. I approche them and start talking to them, and they say one or two things then walk away to their groups again. What should i do?

How can i meet new friends?
You all are involved in the same activities so you have something to talk about. Keep smiling and don't give up. Most of all be yourself and be honest but complementing. Everyone likes to be liked or told something nice about themselves. Listening, observing and timing are also a key to making friends. Listening to how people talk and what they talk about and what you and they have in common that would be an easier person to befriend.

Best wishes!!!
Reply:What is confirmation class?
Reply:I do not know.
Reply:if they dont like you for you they are probably not worth it
Reply:My school days was the same, kids had money nice cloths , I try join in they walk a way they had there friends so i said --i don,t need you so i became a loner. yes i hate school no fun no friends so i quit 8th grade Boy wish i not done that. So try fine one friend or a girl friend make you happy .or take up hobby reading books Sorry life not fair cause people all ways thinks there better than others.
Reply:Charisma is the key! A clique is just a close-knit circle of friends, and sometimes you just have to open the circle in order to get in. Simply approach a friendly-looking group, smile pleasantly, and introduce yourself, while perhaps extending a hand for a handshake. (Tip: speak in a slightly louder voice than you normally would so that you grab their attention.) If they are people worth your friendship, then they'll be glad to introduce themselves and assimilate you into their conversation. If they respond negatively, just shrug, and figure that they aren't worth it.

A lot of people don't believe in their abilities to make friends, but I strongly believe that anyone is capable of the task. All it takes is courage and an open mind. Before you know it, you'll have tons of friends in your confirmation class.

I wish you all the best.
