How do you meet new friends?

Ok i am fifteen years old, no car, bored. So basically i have no ride to go anywhere, but besides that say that i did. How would i meet new people out there? I mean i play sports and i do go out, but i want more than that. So basically i am asking if there is if you guys have any advice as to where to go?

I guess it depends on your interests and if you're willing to accept some new hobbies in order to interact with new people. If you like music, go to a record/cd store. If you like books, go to a book store and start a conversation. Do you like dancing, skating, hockey, ...... ?? The first step is getting out there, the next and most important step is approaching someone and saying asking questions -- yeah, people love to talk about themselves so just let them talk. Then you respond.

Reply:Go to the mall or movies or bowling alley with your friends and see if they bring their other friends or something.

2.talk to them in a friendly manner.


3.find something that u both have something in common.

follow these 3 steps and u will find urself not only 1 new friend maybe even 1 million new friends
Reply:Find the biggest church in town and attend. Join their youth organizations and take part in their summer activities. You will be among friends and people that can truly love you and value as a person.

Reply:I always found that the easiest and quickest way to meet people you'd enjoy spending time w/ is to join a club, civic organization, or committee that reflects your interests...It sounds corny but it works. For me, recently helping to organize a conference for high school students introduced me to tons of people. For you, it may be something totally different - keep an open mind. It will show.





You'll find a lot of different people with whom you share common interests!
Reply:You could enroll in some type of classes in summer like sports or art on the weekend.


When I was your age at 15 I enrolled in an art college course for high school students becuase i wanted to make new friends. I met my best friend in that class, im 28 now and were still best friends.


Also camp is good too to meet people, but i like classes.
Reply:You can find friends anywhere if you look hard enough. Remember strangers are just friends you have yet to meet. :D Mall, arcade, some other popular hangout.
Reply:Parties, clubs, hey even online you can meet new friends anywhere; at work, ect....
