Where did you meet your friends?

okay I was shy in hs and I go to junior college right now soo...how am I supposed to make new friends? theres some ppl I would like to speak to in class but can i do? just catch up to them after class and start talking to them? wouldnt that awkward??? I mean if i was in hs that would be different but yeah?? its a junior college!!!...

Where did you meet your friends?
Sometimes you can just pose a question like "did you get all the homework assignment?" and that can lead to a conversation. You have the right idea about not being too awkward or even pushy, but if the person is receptive, they will probably open up and talk with you, or it gives you the foundation to say hi the next time.
Reply:It is never easy, but hang in there. Someone nice oughta realize you are a bit shy, but a great person. Hang in there, it takes time but you have to make a bit of a move to get things going... Some people take shyness for being arrogant. Report It

Reply:Go out on a limb and take the chance.

You only lose if you don't take the chance.
Reply:ask them to borrow a pencil

so then you have a reason

to see them again so u

can give it back to them

hopefully u make friends :)
Reply:try joining some clubs or getting involved in other on campus activities. that will give you a chance to connect with people. you aren't the only one there feeling the way you do. take a chance!
Reply:its actually harder to make friends in jr college becuase in high school you hang out everyday and your forced to be there. im in jr college too and looking for friends becuse the ones i had tranfered. just talk to the person sitting next to you..of they look approachable.
Reply:I'm 15

i think u have to be a very friendly person ,,,cuzz if u dont talk to tha ppl in ur class than they would think ur mean soo ya go talk to them Y UR SHY ?? SHY OF WHAT? THEY WONT DO ANYTHING TO U?? ...JUSS OPEN UP ..feel comfortable
