How does a guy meet new guy friends in college?

Ughh i feel like such a loner. I did have high school friends, and i hung out with them and their own friends. So we had our own posse. But i'm weird out by my best friend. now we ain't friends. i don't really want to see him. And like I don't feel like I have good communication with them. So I feel kind of lonely, and I need to make some new friends. But the thing is, isn't it much harder to make friends in college? You barely have a few minutes to talk to people before or after class. And it's hard to ask a guy to hang out. It just isn't socially acceptable or something with all this homophobia going on. like if i were to ask a guy i met in class and got to know to like get some food after class, so if it's a night class. that would seem weird to some folks. i don't know. and since it's some junior college, not everyone leaves too close to one another. i don't know. how do i meet some new people. and i feel people will think i'm weird just being with myself.

I actually thought it was easier to make friends in college compared to just moving somewhere new. Part of the reason is that most people are in the same boat as you. Its their 1st time away from home so they don't know many people either.





My college had pretty small class sizes so I saw the same people in all my classes for my major. Talk about class even if its stupid its something in common that you automatically can relate to. We ended up with groups that studied together, went from class to class together, ate lunch together. We all ended up hanging out together at some point.
Reply:hey man if you just play it cool for a while doing whatever you like to do im sure you could meet up with some nice people you like that may live in the area. like on xbox live say i meet some cool people on a game id ask if they wanna be friends and i add them and we play some games, n its really fun. im not sure if it works the same Irl though but similar.
Reply:Join in the football teams in ur college ,or other college parties .U will easily find more friends .


Ur not alone .when u all come to this college ,everyone of u do not know each other .So ,u will have lots new friends.
