Whatever you choose, you should believe in the cause that you are joining. You will not truely bond with the other people unless you are of 'like mind.' If you belong to a religion, church is a great place to meet friends other wise I would suggest volunteer organizations. Best of luck!

Reply:Yes make a habit of playing --Caram board,badminton--or civi or cultural.Religious should be practised with comfort of mind and spirit of ourselves.
Reply:Also try getting off the computer,go out and meet people,you can go anywhere the movies,the mall,church,parks,the zoo,a art fair.county fair,anywhere.But you'll never find them sitting at home,get out and live.Plan a short trip,start 50 miles from home,then a hundred,two.You get it?Good luck.
Reply:Look in the phone book. Get the weekend newspaper and there are always social events and clubs listed.
