Need suggestions of a pub to meet friends in Sydney - poss Rocks/Harbour area - neither of us know Sydney?

Looking for somewhere quietish that does bar food. Also something easy to find or well known if we ask. Thanks!

Try the Belgian Bier Cafe at the Rocks.....they have the best beersand the chips with mayo is fabulous!
Reply:Rocks - Ask for the Lowenbrau! Its a beautiful German Pub, they do awesome food, rowdy on a sat night, but all other times a nice place to meet up, if its a good day sit outside, in the rocks, everyone knows where it is...

If its a good day, head down to Darling Harbour to The Watershed. The food here is amazing, its right on the harbour (maratime museum side, not kings wharf side) and on a sunny day, sit outside, have a few quite drinks, enjoy awesome seafood and steaks, and watch the beautiful harbour...

or if u wanna go 4 swanky one, go for Blu Horizon, in Shangri-La Hotel (its a bar). totally stunning!!!

Reply:I would definitely suggest Darling Harbor...many different options down there including the Watershed (which someone else mentioned) and the Pontoon Bar (which is on the Cockle Bay side). It's a wonderful place to sit %26amp; have a meal.
