Can you really meet good friends in church?

i just moved to a new city and want to make new friends. i don't frequent bars or nightclubs.


will attending church help me make new friends? i don't want to stay home alone on weekends. any suggestions what church?

Can you really meet good friends in church?
Try different churches of faith. Then the one you really feel the most in touch with, stay with it. I also suggest the library.

Reply:Find a church that is alive. Not one that is just hymns and standing and sitting. A church where Christ is really alive will be a great place to find friends that will last an eternity.
Reply:OK the whole friends who will last an eternity is kinda scary, I would suggest going somewhere you like, like maybe to a park or something like that? If you have a dog take it to the doggy park, you meet people with interesting things to talk about and not just people who wanna "save" you all the time, I'm sorry and don't mean to offend but most church people are very judgmental. *ducks the flying bibles* Sorry if I offended anyone.
