Where, when, and HOW DID YOU MEET some of your TIGHTEST FRIENDS?

I met my closest friend in school during elementary (can't remember what grade exactly) and we met because people kept saying we are really alike, and I had wanted to meet her.





We are really close now, but I hate that we are going to different high schools. She is the only friend that I have that I actually can talk to about the important things. Everyone else is just with drama.

Where, when, and HOW DID YOU MEET some of your TIGHTEST FRIENDS?
I met my closest friend in playschool! We're still really close although, she goes to a different college, She lives near me, so I see her at least 3 or 4 times a week.





I met my other closest friend in high school, We were actually never that close until we were 20 and went travelling together, That brought us much closer.

Reply:I've known my first best friend since we were both a few days old. She is 7 days older than me, and our moms are really close, so when my mom was out of the hospital with me they always got together and brought us with. We've literally been friends forever (24 years later!)
Reply:My best friend (who's a guy) and I met a church camp. I walk in to the main cabin to sign in with my church group before opening. And out of the blue this guy comes up behind me and goes like "PSHHHHHH". I turn around and in my head I'm thinking "what the heck?" so I go "PSHHHH" and then it turns into a big "PSHHHING" contest. It was hilarious! We've been friends ever since.

Reply:umm... in school (in differing years) and we all just sat at the same table and we all clicked.... well most of us did.....
Reply:Well I met my best friend because I sat across from her at lunch and my other bffl probably just by chance because we had like 7 out 9 classes together =D
Reply:one of them i met in second grade..she was in my class and really nice...then i left the school and went to another one.and in 7th grade i saw her walking down the hallway at my school..we became best friends again..now we're both juniors in high school.





my other friend. Met him in 5th grade. music class together. instantly hit if off..we are very similar..best friends for 7 years.





my other BFF...we met in 6th grade..she was new at my school...i said hi and so did she and we became really great friends..stilll are 6 years later.





same with my other BFF.
Reply:I met both of mt best friends in school. my first best friend i met in second grade and we've been tight ever since. my second best friend i juss met last year in seventh grade, but already, we are extremely close. i love them both like sisters and are always there for them no ,atter what. hopefully they know that! = )
Reply:didn't like one but our parents did and our families went on this spontaneous vacation together and we've been bffls ever since.


One i met in first grade, and we just somehow grew closer and closer- by 2nd grade we were bffls.


One i met in Latin class- it was sooo boring and we were just playing hang man together.

Reply:i knew this girl because she was in my year when i started secondary school. last year we had to sit next to each other in English and we weren't too chuffed about it but now we are best friends. other people are just convenient friends-the ones you hang around with because you have to. but me and her are TIGHT!!!
Reply:At school. I was in a fight with other friends and they were like "do you want to sit with us" and we've been friends ever since.
Reply:1) Kindergarten: Our teacher said to look to a person beside and wave and chat for a second so we could practice this thing where if we're talking and she holds up her hand we stop immediately.





2) First Grade: I forget exactly, I think we just started talking and BAM! We we friends. Lol.





3) Third Grade: We were in the same class, didn't really talk a lot, found out we rode the same bus, nothing much, found out we lived on the same street, sat together, and we've been friends ever since.

Reply:i met my "sister" (lol) in grade 4. our teacher paired us up for an assignment and then i was like you wanna go on the swings with me at recess? and now we consider each other family - even though she moved to the states in grade 6!





i met my best freind in grade 7 at a dance. we hung out the whole time and then later that summer we went to the fair together wwith a mutual friend. eventually i ended up switching to her school without even realizing it! lol i got there and shes like "omg hi jessica!" now we are so close!





i met my best guyfriend when i switched to the new school too. he was desaraes (my bestie) best guyfriend, so we hung out alot. now we are both his two bestest girlfriends. weve even had sleepovers all together! lol (but we didnt do anything.. "sexual" cause ew gross hes like my brother haha)

how: I actually hated her at first. She was moving into my friend's old house. but then I started talking to her... and now everyone knows we're best friends =]

how: I actually don't remember! we just started talking and we became really good friends. she's one of the people I trust with a lot of things and she's really good at giving advice.
Reply:I'm currently a senior in high school, and I met my best friend in 7th grade, our first year of middle school. We went to separate elementary schools, so I knew nothing about her. One day I noticed she left her binder at her locker and caught up to her and told her she forgot it. It's weird, but I can never remember how I became friends with me. Friendship just seems to develop so gradually and naturally that it's impossible to pinpoint its beginning. I don't know what I'd do without my best friend, though; she's my other half and we always have fun when we hangout together, no matter the location.
Reply:I have 5 really close friends that i can tell anything to...We all met in different ways but they are all like family to me..





1: I met her when i was 4 yrs old and we have been friends ever since. It started out in pre-school and she has become like a sister to me since. i don't know what i would do without her. we have been besties for a little over 11 yrs





2: I'm not sure when we met but we just started talking one day and have become closer over the last couple years. We met at school.





3: This girl used to be one of my worst enemies but now she is one of my best friends. We never really liked each other through middle school though neither of us really had a reason but when high school came along we took spanish together and quickly became friends, then she started dating one of my guy friends and we have become even closer. I love her to death and wish i had started talking to her sooner





4: Number four i have known since birth she is my cousin and we are so much alike its not even funny. She was raised with 4 brothers so i'm like the sister she never got. I can trust her with anything





5: This is my best guy friend. We just recently reconnected because i knew him back about 5 years ago and when he moved out of state with lost touch but through the last month that i have been talking to him our friendship has rekindled. He is the only guy i can talk to about problems and know he's actually listening and i thank him for that...





Thats about it those are the people i am proud to call my besties and i love them all to death can't imagine life without them.... :)

Reply:middle/elementary school. we had classes together and we started talking.





i met my best friend on the first day of kindergarden. she asked if i wanted to play checkers. i said yes but i didn't know how to play. she taught me how and then we became good friends. she is still my best friend to this day. as time went on we became very different in personalities and interests but we are still bffs =]

1) I yelled across the classroom at this new girl in Grade Four, "Will you be my friend?" and we have been great friends since.





2) I was in Grade Five and just started hanging out with her, bestest friend ever.





3) Grade Eight! I started a new school and just started talking to a friend of hers and we all were great friends, but I am not friends with the girl I started talking to first because she is UGH to me!





4) She just randomly started talking to me so we are friends. Grade Eight!

i'm in high school but just to let you know, in high school you will lose lots of old friends [because you will all change dramatically] but you'll gain new friends.
Reply:Well one of my best friends since K-5, I met by my mom. My mom talked to her mom, and our moms introduced us, and we clicked.





Another one of my very AMAZING friends, I met by telling her that I live near her. We just clicked.
Reply:cheyenne - we were 4. we were neighbors and she came over one day to say hi... 10 years later, we're still tight. :D even though we dont live near each other anymore and shes a year older AND goes to a different school.


lauren - 6th grade. school. going to highschool with me next year.


niky - 6th grade. school.


elizabeth - 1st grade. we both got into the same private middle school (the one im at now) and were still friends.


sophie - exact same situation as elizabeth.

Reply:I met my best friend in the pool at our apartment complex. We just started talking and we go to the same school so we've gotten really close.

EDIT: why the thumbs downs? I lost touch with most of my school friends, but my church friends have been there the whole time. I met one when I was 3, one when I was 7, one from birth, and my husband at 13. The question was asked, the question was answered. If your didn't come from church, then fine. But that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it.
