I seem to not have many friends at this point in my life. Ive finished uni and my uni friends have jobs and are too busy to see me much. I cant seem to find a job and i'm a single parent so i dont get out much. Any suggestions on how to make some decent friends near where i live Edinburgh as online seems to be just people wanting wierd stuff.

I am in the same boat as you, except I am in college; I am socially shy which makes i harder for me.
Try meeting some people at a book club or at the local park; join some fun activity groups that will help you open up.
