What is a good way to meet and make friends here in Belgium?

I just moved to Belgium from the states. I live in Sterrebeek which is a very small Flemish town. I also go to a language school but most of my classmates do not speak english so making friends here is very hard! What is a good way to meet and make friends here in Belgium?

join a locale club ( sport or cultural depending what for hobby's you have ),


go to the locale youth centre

then you can talk and laugh, sing and cheat, the whole night.

Find an expat website for Brussels. I know you are not in Brussels, but you are close to it. You can take the train.





Learn French. May take a while though. I am taking classes and hope to hone my French skills in 6 months to start making French speaking friends.
