Where did you meet most of your friends?

I am 22 and my husband is 25. We have two sons and we have a few friends but they never want to go out or do anything. The ones that are willing to go out places are moochers and don't work so they are always broke. I am not desperate enough to pay their way. I'd rather go alone. So how would I go about making new friends? Where could I meet some? Please don't say myspace or anything like that. My husband and I already have a myspace. By the way I have nothing against people who don't work if I offended ya but its just the fact that they are able to work and in their 20s and refuse to. They want everyone else to keep them up. I feel desperate for asking this but I just need to meet some new friends to hang out with. I quit high school at 15 and I quit speaking to my friends I had there because I was married and they were single. They just lost interest in me. Oh well. lol. For the better since they were addicted to all kinds of drugs and I'm trying to have a family. Well ty.

Reply:I would suggest maybe joining a sports and social club, I joined one with my wife 2 years ago and we have met nothing but great people.
Reply:I met my best friend in college and others in the military (I know these might not be options for you considering you have a family) but why not be come friends with other moms in your area? you will definetly have something in common with them.
Reply:most of my friends i meet at church.you can find people your own age and the ages of your kids.
Reply:im 17 and ill tell you what i think...you dont need friends...your friends are your family....why dont you have get to gethers with your family...it always dosant have to be abot friends...
